Todays Challenge is: Gifts!

Christmas is just around the corner and this is the perfect Challenge!

You can make gifts, do tags, use something on your project you got as a gift!

For this challenge I decided to make a gift card holder. I don't know about you but as the kids are getting older it is harder and harder for them to decide what they would like for Christmas/presents and really all they want are gift cards (or cash, but this works for cash as well!)

I used the Gift Card Holder Die Set and cut a little window out and inserted some vellum in. Then I used the word die that comes with the set and cut out the "Just for You' from some cardstock. Then I took the little penguin from the Holiday Chill Stamp Set, stamped it on some Copic paper and coloured it with Copic markers. Then I highlighted it with some Stickles and YNS Tinsel Gumdrops!

Its all Candy Canes at YNS!

Todays Challenge is: Candy Canes

For this challenge I used the new stamp set called Beary Christmas!

I stamped the cute Bear stocking onto some Copic paper and coloured it with Copic markers. Then I cut it out using the Stitched Rectangle Dies and layered it over papers from the Holiday Joy collection.

Lastly, I added in some holly berries using the Holly Jolly Gumdrops!

Holiday Chillin!

Good Morning And Welcome to my

New Release Individual Spotlight 

for 

Today I have created a card using the Holiday Chill Stamp set and Dies!

I started out by using some stencil paste and the Candy Cane stencil to create the background black paper.

Then I cut out some vellum using the new Cute Scallop Oval Dies. For the penguins, I stamped them onto some Copic paper and coloured them with Copic markers. Then I cut them out using the matching dies.

Lastly, I stamped the sentiment onto a little banner and put everything to together!

Challenge Day

Todays Challenge is: Thank You!

A new little die was released recently and I knew I wanted to use it for this Challenge!

The die is called the 3x3 Snowfall Panel Die! I cut out some textured cardstock with it and backed it in vellum. In all the little holes I put some Stickles as the snowflakes and then stamped the sentiment on top of the vellum. I then stamped the skater and tree onto some Copic cardstock (from the Holiday Magic Set)and coloured them with Copics. Then I finished it off with some more Stickles.

New Challenge at YNS!

Challenge Day

for Your Next Stamp!

Todays Challenge is: Midnight

So I went with this theme a little differently! We just had a brand new release at YNS of amazing holiday themed stamps and dies and I am IN THE holiday creation mode! So when I thought Midnight....I thought of Santa, cookies, treats etc!

What better way to celebrate than to have a sweet midnight snack!

I used the Holiday Treats stamps and Dies for this project

I stamped all of the little treats and plate onto some Copic paper and coloured it with Copic markers. Then I used the matching dies to cut them all out. I put everything on top of some coloured cardstock and popped some of the images up using the brand new YNS Pop dots!

I finished it off with some glitter and Gumdrops!

New Release Inspiration

Good Morning And Welcome to my

New Release Individual Spotlight 

for 

Today is a special day, I have created a few things for you from the brand new release at YNS!

For my first project I created a card using the Magical Holiday Moments Stamp set. I made a peek a boo window using some circle dies and stamped the image within the hole. Then I coloured it using Copic markers and some glitter. Then I used some paper from the Winter Plaid collection and stamped a sentiment right on top as well as added a little border. Then I stamped it again onto white cardstock and fussy cut the word SWEET out and adhered it overtop of the word.

For my second project I made some holiday tags!

I stamped the images (From the Snow Adorable Stamp set and the Magical Holiday Moments Set) onto Copic paper and coloured them with Copic markers. Then I cut some complimentary cardstock and used the  new Shaker Globe Die to cut it out. Then I cut it again using gold paper and fussy cut the top off to look like a gold topper, added the matching bow I had coloured and added lots of glitter and a ribbon!

Fall Post at YNS

Fall Post

for Your Next Stamp!

It's Thanksgiving here in Canada this weekend and what a perfect stamp set to celebrate Fall/Autumn than the Fall of Color ! It has perfect matching dies as well!

I stamped the leaves onto some patterned paper from the Fabulous Fall Paper Pad .Then I cut them out using the matching dies.

Then I layered a bunch of the papers from the same set, stamped the sentiment and stamped the background using the Mini Autumn Leaves Ink Splatter.

New Release just for SCT!

Good Morning And Welcome to a 

A Special Release Day

at Your Next Stamp!

On the weekend Scrapbook and Card Today Magazine had a virtual Card making event and YNS designed a brand new special stamp and matching dies just for the day!

Its called Snow Globe and it has a cute sky scene with a balloon and little mouse. To compliment the stamp set we have a snow globe die!

I created for you a card using the new set and I just loved working with little gem!

I stamped the inside of the globe and the little bow onto some Copic paper and coloured them with Copic markers. Then I cut the snow globe out with textured cardstock, stamped the sentiment and adhered them onto some patterned paper from the Birthday Boy Collection. Lastly, I cut a scalloped vellum circle and put everything onto it and a circle card.

Fall Challenge

Today we are having an 

"FALL" CHALLENGE!

It is almost Thanksgiving here in Canada and what a perfect way to celebrate this beautiful season but with a challenge that celebrates Fall!

The leaves here change all different colours and the apples in season are so delicious! 

Fall is really is my favourite time of the year!

I stamped the fox (from the Autumn Harvest Stamp Set)onto some Copic paper and coloured it with Copic markers. Then I cut it out using the matching dies.

Then I layered a bunch of the papers from the Fabulous Fall Paper Pad, stamped the sentiment and added some gumdrops.

Scrap Challenge at YNS

Challenge Day

from Your Next Stamp!

Today we are having a

"SCRAP" CHALLENGE!

We have had a much needed break for the summer but we are back strong with a brand new challenge for you! We challenge you to use up all those scraps you have hanging around!

SO, I looked through my YNS paper pads because I always tuck my extra pieces back into the pad for safe keeping! I decided on the Geometrics Paper Pad because I had a lot of nice sized scraps to work with!

I paired these scraps with some dies- The Bold Thank You Die Set, and the Wonky Stitched Oval Dies

as well as the Thank You Sentiments Stamps

I cut strips of the scrap paper and layered them to create a striped background. Then I cut the circle out using the Wonky Oval dies and backed it with acetate to create a shaker card. I added in the sequins and backed it on some more patterned paper and a card base.

Then I cut out the THANKS, stamped the sentiment and finished it off with some Gumdrops!

Welcome to the SEPTEMBER 2022

Today we are over on Instagram for a Hop but I thought I would show you the card I made for today!

Its using the new Fall of Color Stamp Set

I started by making a background using Distress ink and some water splashes. Then I stamped the images from the Fall of Color set in a random pattern and used Copics to colour some of the elements. Then I did some white splatters and adhered it to a gold cardstock and base.

Showcase Day at Your Next Stamp!

Good Morning!

Today is another special release day where I get to showcase one of the awesome

 new stamp sets just released from Your Next Stamp

The set I am using today is called NAUTICAL FUN and it IS so fun!

Look at all the beautiful creatures and sayings in this!

I started by stamping the boat and octopus onto some Copic cardstock and colouring them with Copic markers. Then I cut it out using the matching dies. For the background ink blended with the new Waves and Shells Stencil and the Puffy Cloud Stencil. 

Lastly, I added a strip onto the bottom for the sentiment, popped the octopus up and added some gel pen highlights and a Gumdrop!

New Challenge at Your Next Stamp!

Today we are having an 

"ANYTHING GOES" CHALLENGE!

These past two weeks have been jammed packed with a whole bunch of inspiration from the new June release so I decided to use something new from that!

The stamp set I am using is called Gum Believable and I paired it with the new Bold Thank You Die Set

I stamped the dog onto some Copic paper and coloured him with Copic markers. Then I cut out some red cardstock using the new dies from the Bold Thank you set. I wanted to keep this card clean and simple so I layered some cardstock for the background, glued the word on and stamped the sentiment. Lastly, I popped up the dog with some foam squares.
