Happy June at Ninabrook!

Good Morning Everyone!
Happy June!
I don't know about you but I am READY for school and all the activities to have a break for the summer!

I am back this month and my awesome Ninabrook package was filled with beautiful papers
(Hello Spring Collection) and embellishments from
American Crafts and Simple Stories!

Don't you just LOVE these beautiful papers?
Butterflies and Flowers...my favourite!!

For my first project, I covered a notebook with some of the papers and added a die cut LOVE and some of the flower stickers.

The "everyday" is a stamp!
Its by Prima Stamps, part of the Wild and Free Collection.
Now, I only used half of the stamp but this shows how you can alter things to suit your needs!

Next I made some cards for you!
In this card, I layered patterned papers over coloured cardstock and added the butterfly sticker.
The sentiment is from Your Next Stamp and I used Versafine ink to stamp it on some of the patterned paper.
Look at these little jewelled flowers!!
I layered the patterned paper over cardstock, cut the Celebrate (Neat and Tangled Die) and layered it on some vellum. Then I added the beautiful jewelled flowers and some Gumdrops for the centres. (Gumdrops from Your Next Stamp)
For this card I fussy cut the feathers from on of the patterned papers and layered them over top of a banner sticker which I had backed with chipboard (to make it more 3D).
Then I added some twine (CTMH) which I made into a bow, stamped the sentiment (YNS) and added some gumdrops.

I also used the Watermelon Party Paper Pad on my project as well as the Scalloped Heart Edge Die.
I stamped the little unicorn and then coloured it using my Copic markers and then cut it out using the Circle with Piercing Marks Die.

YNS Design Team Dare!

Here at YNS we are challenged each month to create something new using a specific theme!
For the month of  JUNE our Design Team Dare is: Summer Fun!

I just LOVE all the Waddles sets and the Waddles Beach Fun just speaks Summer!

I stamped the penguin using the Black Olive Ink from YNS and coloured it with Copic Markers.
I then cut out his eye glasses and the sun with the matching dies and the waves from the Tiny Waves Die Set. Everything was then layered using our Rounded Square Dies.

Go to the YNS Blog to see what the other DT's have made for you,
comment and you could win a stamp set of your choice!

Have a wonderful day!,

For my card I tried to use some of my all time favourite products....
one of them being the stamp set called: Framed Flowers
This is SUCH a pretty set and I love to use it on cards.

I used the matching Frame die (From the Stitched Peek A Boo Set) around the images and then I mounted on a background I used my Stitched Rectangle Dies on!
For the sentiment, I used Whatnot Sentiments 11... another VERY versatile set.
All of these products I have used a bunch of times and the Rectangle dies I think you see on almost all of my cards! (my all-time fav!)

How did I make this?
I stamped the images with our Black Olive Ink and then coloured everything with Copic markers. Then I used the matching dies and cut out all the frames and mounted the flower images behind them.
Lastly, I layered everything on more cardstock and then stamped the sentiment.

Here's what I used!
