For my card, I used one of my favourite sets called: Penguin Love

I stamped out the little penguins and watercoloured them using my Daniel Smith watercolor paints on watercolour paper. 

Then I used the Stitched Rectangle dies and created some layers with my image.

Today we are challenging you to a "Winter Wonderland" project!

What better way to show winter than with a Waddles card!

I used an awesome stamp set called Waddles Winter Happiness!

I stamped the Waddles (Penguins) onto some Copic paper and coloured them with Copic markers. I also added some white gel pen and some Stickles for glitter snow! Then I layered it onto some plaid paper from the Mint Cocoa Kisses Paper Pad and added some Gumdrops. (My fav!!)

Today we are challenging you to a "New Beginnings" project!

When I thought of New Beginnings, I thought of two couples that were supposed to get married this year but due to Covid they had to postpone!

I used one of my new fav stamp sets for this project called Lifetime of Happiness! 

I stamped the Hammies onto some Nina paper and coloured them with Copic markers and cut it out using the matching dies.Then I layered everything on some patterned papers and added a sentiment from the same stamp set!

Today I will show you my favourite project I made in 2020 and why!

For my selection, I chose a card I made using the Positive Affirmations Stamp set.

I chose this card as my favourite this year because I LOVE this sentiment from the Positive Affirmations set! I also love the way it turned out (watercolour paints and embossing) and had fun making it.

The card is really fitting to give to someone you care about especially this year (darn Covid!) and the trying times we have been having.

All wrapped up at YNS!

Challenge Day

Today we are challenging you to an "All Wrapped Up" project!

To......Use some BOWS!!

Well, we just released a brand new stamp set called Cute Bows and

 this was PERFECT for this challenge!

I started by stamping all different bows onto some patterned papers (these were some YNS retired papers) and then cut them out using the matching dies.

Then I positioned and glued them down onto some cardstock and layered it on more paper.

Lastly, I stamped and clear embossed the sentiment from the Holiday Hugs Stamp set.

Today we are challenging you to a "Just For You" project!

For someone specific in mind!!

I used one of my all time fav stamp sets for this project called Hammie Happy Birthday! 

I stamped Hammie onto some Nina paper and coloured him with Copic markers and cut it out using the Stitched Rectangle Dies.Then I layered everything on some patterned papers and added the HUGS using a brand new die from this month!

I figured everyone could use a Hugs card especially since what has been going on and how much I miss seeing my friends and family!

YNS Christmas Series- Day Two!

     

Good Morning And 

Welcome to

Day Two 

of our 

Special Christmas Series

from 

This week we are featuring five stamp sets: 

Paw-liday Pups, Cool Winter Cats, Happy EggNog Season, Merry Mouse Eve and Holiday Sparkle!

Today I am using  an adorable stamp set called Cool Winter Cats! 

I stamped the cat and coloured it with Copic markers and some Prismacolor pencils. For the sentiment I stamped it with Versafine ink and then cut it out using the Stitched Rectangle Dies (prob my FAV dies!!) Next, I layered everything onto some coloured cardstock and patterned papers. Lastly, I tied some organza ribbon and little pinecones.
