Someone Special Card

Well, one more day until the end of the hop and its has been so much fun!

Here is a card I made using an older Close to my Heart stamp set:

I random stamped the cup on kraft cardstock and then stamped the larger cup. Then I paper pieced the cup as well as used my watercolour pencils to highlight it.

A whole Latte Love!

Good morning!

Its a cloudy day here and a perfect one to make cards!

I made this card to enter into the Coffee Lovers Blog Hop.

I bought this embossing folder especially to make cards for this hop and after embossing I embellished it with some Nuvo drops. I then stamped this sentiment from Joy Clair and mounted it on a cardbase with some patterned paper.

Hello Friend Coffee Card

Good Morning!

Today I have another card for the Coffee Lovers Spring/Summer Blog Hop!

This one features a set from Tim Holtz and Ranger and includes a really cool coffee cup embossing folder! This is a new set I purchased and I was dying to use it!

I stamped the image with Memento ink onto Distress watercolor paper and then used my Zig Clean Color markers to colour it. Then I mounted everything onto layered cardstock, one of which I embossed with the coffee cup folder. Lastly I stamped the sentiment and added that as well!

Hello again!

I am here with another card for the Spring and Summer Coffee Lovers Blog Hop!

This is one of my favourite hops because I love all the sponsors and of course,

LOVE coffee!

For my next card I decided to use a new die/embossing kit that I bought recently on our trip to the States! Its a Sizzix/Ranger kit and has this cool die/embossing folder combo in it!

I used kraft card stock and really thick cardstock from Simon Says Stamp for the base and then added the purple sequins from my stash!

The sentiment does say "Thanks a Latte" but its hard to read because I jam-packed it with the sequins!

You warm my Heart!

Good Morning! It is hot and sticky here in Ontario but I am NOT complaining!

I am though, staying indoors and made some other cards for the ...

For this card I did some water colouring with my Koi WaterColors and water brush.

I stamped the image onto Ranger watercolor paper and painted it, then I fussy cut it and added it on top of a die cut rectangle and patterned paper.

Coffee Card for a Sunday!

Its been a perfect HOT weekend here (finally!) and I got some more coffee cards made for the:

This card uses some of my favourite papers and supplies from Doodlebug!

I cut some of this corrugated cardboard and layered the coffee cup patterned paper onto. Then I cut out the coffee cup card with the sentiment already printed on it and mounted it on some cardstock. You cant see it but I finished it off with some clear Nuvo glitter pen.

Coffee Loving Bookmark

Good Morning everyone!

I am back again (and will be all week long!) with another project I have made for the....

This is actually NOT a card but a bookmark!

 

I cut this file out using my Silhouette machine and then stamped the coffee sleeve with a cute stamp by Latina Crafter! The little wooden coffee cup is also by Latina Crafter and the ribbons are from my stash!

Mother Day Card

Good Morning!

Today I thought I would share with you the Mothers Day card I gave to my Mom.

It features a stamp from Hero Arts called Antique Rose, Letter Dies from Your Next Stamp and a sentiment from Close To My Heart.

I stamped and heat embossed the flower in white and then used my Zig Clean Color Markers to colour the Rose. I finished it off with some gold Distress Spray and then cut it our using a cross stitched rectangle die. Lastly, I mounted it on some cardstock and added the organza ribbon.

Good Morning and Welcome to our May Feature Day!

We are mixing and Mashing up stamps sets!

I decided to use both the Photo Booth set and Unicorns Rock for this card!

I stamped the dog with Black Olive Ink and then coloured it with Copic markers. Then I stamped the saying with Versafine ink and cut it out using the new Rounded Square Piercing Die. Lastly, I mounted everything on paper from the Geometric Paper Pad.

We are having Fun at YNS!

We have another  Colour and Sketch Challenge starting today!

Here is my card I made using the Punny Pineapple stamp. 

This is such a cute stamp set and fun to use!

I also used the Matching Dies and the Geometrics Paper Pad on my project.

I stamped the pineapple drink and lid and then coloured it using my Copic markers and then cutting them out using the matching dies.

Then I layered everything on top of cardstock and the Geometrics paper and added the sentiment.

  For my first card I used the stamp set called: Sea Friends

This is an adorable set featuring beautiful sea creatures!

I stamped the image with our Black Olive Ink and then coloured everything with Copic markers. Then I used the matching dies and cut out all the seals and heat embossed the saying.

Lastly, I layered everything on the new Seas the Day Paper which I had cut out using our new Rounded Square Dies with Paper piecing holes.

Here is my second card using a funny (or should I say Punny!) stamp set!!

Its called: Punny Pineapple

When I saw this set I was laughing.......the backstory is that my sister and I tease our Mom about her collection of Pineapples all the time!! SO now I have a PERFECT stamp set to make her cards with!

I went with a shaker card for this card and used two of the new Rounded Square dies to make a frame for the shaker. I used the Geometric Papers for the frame and then stamped and coloured the Pineapple with my Copics. The pineapple and sunglasses were then cut out using the matching dies.
