Hot Cocoa Day!

Its Hot Cocoa Day at the Coffee Lovers Blog Hop!
The card I created for you today features an adorable stamp by Stacey Yacula (Purple Onion Designs). This little penguin drinking cocoa is perfect for this day!
I stamped and heat embossed the image and then coloured it with my Zig Clean Color markers.
I mounted it on some snowflake papers that I cut out using a stitched rectangle die from Your Next Stamp. The sentiment is also from YNS.

Have a wonderful day!

Coffee Lovers Blog Hop

Well, we finally have snow here in southern Ontario because it has been
snowing non stop since last night. The roads are crazy and it is a perfect day to
stay indoors and craft!

Here is my next card for the Coffee Lovers Blog Hop:
This set is an older one from Close To My Heart, and I paired it with a snowflake die from Your Next Stamp. I cut out glitter paper with the die (you cant really see it in my picture!)

Thanks for looking and stay warm today!

12 Days of Cards- Day 12

Good Morning and welcome to the LAST Day of my
12 Days if Cards Series!
This has been a LOT of fun and I hope you enjoyed some of my creations!
For my Day 12 card I thought I would share with you a card I made using a Simon Says Stamp Card Kit. This kit was released LAST year and is actually a Birthday set!
Now what makes this card unique is that it uses non-traditional Christmas colours because it was intended for Birthdays.  It could easily transform into a Valentines Card because of the heart papers and having a shaker is kind of cool....but I thought I would do Christmas!
The papers are from Doodlebug (LOVE, love LOVE Doodlebug papers!) and the shaker tag and insert are by Jillibean Soup!
I added some washi to the tag and filled the shaker with some hearts from my stash.

Thank you for taking the time to look at my 12 Days of Cards.
Be sure to make a comment and you could win some Blog candy!
I will announce the winner tomorrow!
Have a wonderful Holiday season and Merry Christmas!

Another Coffee Lovers Blog Hop Card

Since my weekend was so hectic, here is another entry for the Winter Blog Hop that I didn't get submitted until now!
This set is by Joy Clair stamps!
I stamped the image out using Memento ink and colouring the coffee cup using Copic markers.
I layered everything on some papers from American Crafts and added some glitter tape from CLose To My Heart.

Hope you enjoy!

Coffee Lover Blog Hop Card

Good Morning, here is another card I made for the Winter Coffee Lovers blog Hop!

This stamp set is from Simon Says Stamp and was a featured set in one of their monthly card kits!
I heat embossed it on Distress watercolor paper and then used my Zig Clean Color markers to colour it!
Thanks for looking!
Have a great day!

12 Days of Cards- Day Eleven

Good Morning and welcome to Day Three of my 12 Days of Cards Series!
Today I am featuring a unique stamp set from Your Next Stamp
called: Ainsley-Scottish Dancer
You are probably wondering WHY I would have a Scottish dancer for a Christmas card.....well,
you see we are a Scottish family and our Girls have done Highland dance since they were three!
(our oldest is going to be 16 on Christmas Eve and youngest is 11!)
And this stamp is PERFECT to make a Christmas card for their Highland teacher!
I stamped the image out using Black Olive Preminum ink from YNS and then coloured Ainsley in with Copic markers. I then stamped a second image into tartan paper and paper pieced her kilt!
The image was then cut out using Stitched Ovals dies and stamped a sentiment onto strips I cut using the Washi Tape Die Set. I stamped PART of the sentiment because I am going to stamp Merry Christmas on the inside of the card.
Then I placed everything onto some of the same Tartan paper (I bought this IN Scotland actually!).

Thanks for looking today!
Come back tomorrow for Day Twelve!

Good Morning and welcome to Day Ten my 12 Days of Cards Series!
Today I am featuring another stamp set from Neat and Tangled: Merry Kisses

I stamped the image using Memento Ink onto Copic paper and then cut it out using a postage stamp die. Then I coloured the foxes with Copic markers and mounted it on some patterned papers and a cardstock base.
I just loved this image and sayings and bought this specifically to make my Hubby's Christmas card!
