Saturday Challenge at Kraftin' Kimmie!

Its Saturday and Welcome to a special day at Kraftin' Kimmie Stamps!

 We have a new Krafty Scrappy Challenge and it is to make anything to do with Holidays!

This week I used one of my favourite Christmas stamps called No Peeking.

To create this card I stamped the image out on Copic paper and then die cut the circle. I then layered a bunch of paper together, coloured the image with Copic markers and added some ribbon and little Tim Holtz pinecones.

As you can see I followed the Sketch Challenge for this month!

Distress Ink Challenge at Kraftin' Kimmie!!

This week I used an adorable stamp set called Mini Monsters.
This set has a whole bunch of monster cuties!!

To create this card I embossed a background and adhered it onto my card and then started on the night sky. I used Distress Inks and water on Distress Watercolour paper to create this background night sky. I then stamped and coloured the mini monster with Copic markers and embossed the saying.

ABC's at Your Next Stamp!

Today is a great day at YNS because it is Feature Day!

We are inspired by anything and everything!

This months theme is ABC- Either Anything BUT a Card or ABC's.....

For my Feature Day post I wanted to do a little project for Thanksgiving!
I thought these little treats would look adorable on my Thanksgiving table for everyone!

I started by wrapping these little chocolates with some of the papers from the Fabulous Fall Paper Pad and tying them with some twine. I then stamped this little squirrel (from Autumn Animals) onto some Copic papers and die cut him using the Ripped Rectangles Die.

Last Coffee Card!

This time I went with something a little different...a tea card! I used an older set from Close To My Heart called: Tea-rrific. I coloured the image using Copic markers and then mounted the paper onto some patterned plaid which I had cut out using a stitched rectangle die.

Beautiful Girl!

Good Morning!
I just love creating with MFT stamps and one of the very first ones I purchased was Beautiful Girl!
This little set reminded me of my daughter because she is a dancer and has really curly hair. I also loved the sayings and I honestly can say this is a well used stamp!

For this one I decided to go simple with a white background. I cut out the purple and white textured cardstock with my stitched dies and then added some Distress Ink to the white. I layered colour, added some water and then stamped the sentiment. The little Girl is stamped using Memento Ink on Copic paper. I then coloured her with Copic markers and added some Glitter pen is shine up her skirt and flowers. Lastly, I added some Nuvo glitter drops.

Good Morning!

One of my favourite stamp companies is My Favorite Things because they have such a huge selection of really cute stamps and dies!

The newest set to my collection is called: Seaside Seagulls

This set is full of little seagulls and some really cute sayings!

I bought this set because it reminded me of the time when my daughter was little and a seagull swooped down and stole her cookie on the beach in Florida!

For this card I decided to make a cute shaker card. I cut out some watercolour Distress paper and watercoloured the background for the sand and sky and added some of the clouds that I had fussy cut out. I filled the shaker with a mixture of sand embossing powder, some micro beads and glitter so that it would look like the beach. For the seagull, I cut stamped and cut him out then coloured it with Copic markers and added a corrugated post. Finally, I stamped the saying and added some twine and little stars.
