   For my card I used the MOST adorable stamp set called: Cute Gnomies
I just LOVE the Gnomes and the garden critters with this set! And the sayings are perfect!

  My second card uses a beautiful stamp called: From the Heart
When I saw this set I first thought scrapbooking but then when I got it I knew you can definitely use it for both cards and scrapping! How wonderful is that?!

 

This month I also made a bonus card with this beautiful Wedding Cake Die! It is a two part die and makes amazing cuts, for wedding or shower cards! Or even adapt it for a Birthday cake!

DT Throwback Thursday!

Hello everyone and welcome Throwback Thursday! This is a new blog series featuring Design Team members, their favourite cards and favourite cards of Karen Dedman (owner of Your Next Stamp!)

I have so many favourite stamps and dies from YNS that this task was REALLY difficult for me but I finally decided on the following card I created for a challenge back in December 2015.

This card features an adorable stamp set called Life's A Hoot and is a little owl with a mug of coffee! I watercoloured the background and cut the owl out with the matching dies.
 I loved this card because this represents me...I am definitely a night owl (I am blogging this at 2am!) and anyone who knows me knows I love good coffee! I currently own 4 coffee machines, 2 perks and a french press! (ridiculous, I know!)

When asked, Karen said that this was her favourite card of mine! She said she loved the layout.

Its funny because this was one of my very first cards with YNS and I agonized with making it perfect! In the end I was happy with the result.

We have some exciting things happening this week at the YNS Blog- A new Challenge on Friday and the May New Release and Blog Hop starting Saturday night! (See sneak peeks on Saturday morning!)

YNS Feature Day for April!

Today is a special day at YNS because it is Feature Day!

We are inspired by anything and everything!
This month is to Create A Scene!

For my Feature Day post I wanted to show you what I have been busy making with the stamp set and dies from the April Release called: Gardening Phoebe, Wild Flower and Grass Border and the Puffy Cloud Border

I watercoloured the background and then cut it with the puffy cloud border. Then added the grass border and all the little critters and flowers from the Gardening Phoebe stamp set.

Colour and Sketch Challenge at Your Next Stamp!

Today is a great day at Your Next Stamp!

We have a new Colour and Sketch Challenge starting today!

This month I just used the colour theme:

 I used the words from an adorable stamp set called "Jessica with her Puppy" .
 As well, I used the Ring Trio Die  and added some bling  Gumdrops!

Teacher Apprciation Week!

Good Morning Everyone! Your Next Stamp is celebrating teachers all week with a special blog post series. We had to create a project for Teacher Appreciation Week!

 I made this notebook for my daughters teacher using the new stamp set called Spectacular Teacher.

 I started with a plain notebook from the Dollar store and added some school themed papers.

 I cut out images from Spectacular Teacher using the matching Dies, coloured them using Copic markers and rounded some of the corners.

 Stamped some words from the same stamp set onto paper I made to look like ruled school paper.

And finally glued everything down with strong adhesive and foam squares for dimension!

YNS DT Dare starts today!

 

Here at YNS we are challenged each month to create something new using a specific theme!

For the month of April our Design Team Dare is:  Sending Smiles!

I LOVE the new release called Phoebe's Garden and I knew I wanted use this set especially since it had the perfect verse " sending you sunshine and smiles". This other die is called the Stripe-tastic Doors die and since I didn't get a chance to create with it for the release launch I really wanted to use it for this challenge!
