Here are my projects for the Hop!
For both of them I used the new stamp set called: "Santa Express Train Carts"
For both of them I used the new stamp set called: "Santa Express Train Carts"
For this one I punched out a square from the white cardstock, then embossed it and added a sheet behind to look like a window. I coloured the Snow People with Copic markers and then paper pieced the scarf and ledge. To finish it off, I added fake snow, an organza ribbon and stamped the sentiment.
In this card I coloured the toys with Copic markers, cut them out and
placed it on a piece of embossed cardstock. Then I added the patterned
papers, punched a scalloped strip and added ribbon and the sentiment.
Here is the stamp set I used for both called "Santa Express Train Carts" - Isn't it cute!!

ReplyDeleteVery cute simple cards! Great job love them!
ReplyDeleteGosh, these cards are cute. I love the embossing and what a great idea to cut a window in the first one and have the little scarf extending past the opening. So cute. You have inspired me. (Which means now I have to try it, lol.) The second card is also very cute. I love how you've tucked the toys into the ribbon. Great idea.
ReplyDeleteCute! I love that you used them as complete images instead of using them with the cars. It really extends the usage of the set. Thanks for the inspiration.
