Whimsy Stamps DT

Its funny how life goes in stages. I have been married for a long time and we and our friends have been through the having children stage so I haven't made a baby card for a LONG time until this year! I was excited to make one earlier this year and went on a hunt for a cute baby stamp that I could use for both a boy or a girl. Well, it was SO hard it was to find something just right....but found it!
I fell in LOVE with this stamp called: Baby Bunny's Bottle and have used it on two cards including the latest one!
I would be honoured to be chosen as Guest Designer for Whimsy because the variety of Whimsy Stamps and products is incredible and the possibilities are endless! I would be in heaven trying to create something for your March release.

Products Used: Whimsy Stamp- Baby Bunnys Bottle, Cricut- Art Philosophy, Copic Markers, punch, papers- Close to My Heart, embellishments from my horde.

Hope you enjoy!
Sue

Sneak Peek #...

Ok, so I promised some sneak peeks and I know I have been behind in that becuase I have been getting ready for my big Open House on Thursday night!

I created a cute box from our Cricut Cartridge and used two new stamp sets for the embellishments! One is a frame set and the other is a birthday set that fits perfectly inside the frames!

Here I made a fast and easy card and used the same stamp set. Who says you can't make a card in 10 min or less?

Enjoy!

Man's Card

I always find it harder to make masculine cards because I LOVE flowers and BLING!
I found this awesome stamp by Unity Stamps called: Having Fun.
I thought it would be great to make my Hubby's Birthday card with it since he owns a Jeep!

Enjoy,
Sue.

I also entered this card in the Cards For Men Challenge! A great site to see card ideas for...Men!

HIgh Hopes Challenge

http://highhopesstamps.blogspot.ca/
Since it is snowing and I am stuck inside for the time being I decided to enter a challenge at High Hopes Stamps.

This stamp is called: Wart's That Frogs by High Hopes and I also used ribbons, Prismacolor pencils and paper I had in my horde.

Thanks for looking,
Sue

Happy Robbie Burns Day!

Today is Robbie Burns Day! If you are of Scottish heritage you will probably know what that means....if not, its a day of celebrating a famous Scottish Poets Birthday. January 25th marks the annual celebration of Scotland’s national bard Robert Burns who lived from Jan. 25, 1759 to July 21, 1796. Burns is likely most famous for penning Auld Lang Syne. Traditional Burns suppers centre on haggis (sheep’s heart, lung and liver stuffed in a sheep’s stomach), neeps (turnips), tatties (potatoes) and plenty of whisky and music. Tonight my Husband (the bagpiper) and I, with our close friends, will be celebrating!

In honour of this I created a Robbie Burns inspired card.

I broke out my Prismacolor pencils, Copics, Spellbinders, CTMH Inks, SU Ribbon and a wonderful stamp called: Scottish Accessories made by Class Act Stamps right here in Oshawa ON.

Happy Haggis Day!
