Design Team Day with Sue

Its another Design Team Day with Meljens Designs and actually my first time to share!

 It is coming up to the end of the school year I have been thinking of some 

cool ideas for teachers gifts. My daughter has an amazing teacher that I wanted to do something a little extra for and this is what I came up with.

I had this bucket in my supplies and I got inspiration from the Meljens image 

called "Apple for Teacher". I covered the bucket with apple paper, used themed ribbons and coloured the image with Copics.

So, if you want to get creative go to www.meljensdesigns.com and in the search box put "teacher". There are some great images to inspire you to a make a special teacher something that they will be sure to appreciate!

New Challenge at Meljens Today!

Today Starts a new Challenge at Meljen Designs!

 The theme is "Words with Friends" and this is my Design Team Project.

I covered a Photo Box with paper, inked it, and used a Meljens Design called Ocean Floor Background which I coloured using Copics.

Card Club

Are you interested in making cards but don't know where to start? Well, come out and join my Card Club!

 We meet at my house once a month during the day and I teach you how to make cards and provide all the supplies for free. You in turn place an order of $25 in product out of the current Close to My Heart Idea book. Once in the rotation you are the "hostess" of the club and you get all the benefit! (free stuff and half priced items) The best part is that it is always in my house, you also get free catalogues, and also other Club perks.
