September Feature Day!

Today is a great day at YNS because it is Feature Day!

We are inspired by anything and everything!
This months theme is SPOOKY AND SCARY!

For my Feature Day post I used a Halloween set called Halloween Graveyard!
and I cut the gravestones out with the matching dies!

This second card I am entering into the MFT design contest is using one of their Pure

Innocence stamps! These Girls are so sweet!

This is an older stamp and I'm not really sure of the name.....

Here I used Distress Inks for the background and coloured the stamp with Prismacolor Pencils.

My Favorite Things...

This summer my daughter went to camp for THREE weeks for her Leader in Training session and I missed her a whole bunch!! I happened to see this stamp set that was perfect to make her a card with especially since she is a dancer so I ordered it!

I ended up decorating stationary with it and writing her a long letter.

This set is by My Favorite Things and is called: Beautiful Girl (and even has matching dies!)

For this card I coloured the dancer with Copic markers, cut her out with the dies and mounted her with foam squares on a textured card base. Some ribbon and bling later...I have my card!

  For my first card this month I used the stamp set called: Waddles Fall Fun

If you are familiar with our Waddles stamps then you are going to LOVE this one with a Fall theme including Thanksgiving and Halloween!
I paired this stamp set with the new Stitched Grass Die and a background stamp
called: Lots of Dots Edge Stamp

  For my second card I used two new stamp sets called: Autumn Leaves
and our new paper pack called Woodlands!
This gorgeous stamp was very fun to colour and comes with a cute sentiment!
