Show your Team Spirit!!!

Its all about Team Spirit here today at Meljen Designs! 

 

We have a new Challenge starting and the theme is Team Spirit!

Now, you can create anything with Team Spirit but I am not much of a sports kind of girl so I had a bit of trouble with this one! SO, I decided that being from Toronto I would HAVE to use the team colours of the Toronto Maple Leafs...Blue and White!

 I know my finished product is NOT hockey or sports related but I think it has spirit and it is the right colors!

The image I chose is called: Garden Bun Bun Fairy 

I paired it with papers, ribbon and twine from SU and coloured the image with Copic markers.

DT at Meljens Today!

 Good Morning! Today is my monthy DT Day over at Meljens Designs and I thought I would share with you a card I made. Our February is FULL of birthdays and I thought this would perfect for one of the boys on my list!

I used the: Little Skateboard #4 on this card and paired it with papers and cardstock from CTMH.

Shabby Chic at Meljens Today!

 

  

Its all Shabby a Meljens today! SHABBY CHIC!

   I wasn't quite sure how to tackle this challenge but I figured what is shabby chic without lace?! SO, I started with the lace, picked my image (Precolored Chubby Bluebird) and off I went!

YNS DT Dare Day!

 

 Today marks the January DT Dare day!
 It’s a fun monthly challenge for the YNS design team to showcase more fabulous projects using the new release products! 

Well, it has been an exciting time over at Your Next Stamp for the last couple of days with all

 the new releases for January!

 Don't you just love the new stamp sets and dies!

Today I have been challenged to use "Red, and White "and that is perfect because Valentines Day is coming up and the new stamp set called: Love and Smiles will make a beautiful card for someone special!

I just LOVED the cute characters in this set as well as all the sayings. It is not just for Valentines Day you could use it for anything!

Fun Friday Challenge at YNS today!

     

Good Morning! Today marks the new Fun Friday Your Next Stamp Challenge No. 5!

You have the choice to play along with the sketch, or the colour challenge,

 or draw your inspiration from both!

        

 

Here is my Fun Friday Card!

For my card I chose to do a combination of the colour and sketch theme! I used black and blue coloured papers and the stamp set called: Flower for You

I coloured the image with Copic markers and finished it off with some pink Gumdrops. (Which I am secretly addicted too!)

YNS January Blog Hop!

 Hello and welcome to the YNS JANUARY 2015 New Release and Blog Hop!
 We have a fun January lineup of stamps and dies for you this month and

I am SO excited to participate in this Hop as a new DT member!

You have to check out the Heart Splatter and the Fun Charts stamps....I think they are my favourite from this month! Although I love making cards.......I see a scrapbooking page in the future!

Here are my projects for the Hop!
 For my first card I used the stamp sets called: Heart Ink Splatter and Sweet and Cool

I stamped the splatter in yellow ink and then stamped and cut out an additional heart in blue. I popped it up with a foam square and then added the wording from the Sweet and Cool Set. I finished it off with some of our gumdrops! They come in ALL colours!

On my second card I also used the stamp set called: Sweet and Cool. Here I stamped the images, coloured the sticks, and then masked/inked around the image. I stamped additional hearts onto patterned papers and then popped them up as well with foam squares.

  Here are the stamp sets I used- Aren't they cute!!

Sneak Peek at YNS Today!

Wow! I can't believe we are January already......

With the new year comes a NEW January release from YNS!

I am very excited because today is a Sneek Peek of Your Next Stamps wonderful new stamps and die releases and my first month of being a part of the YNS Design Team!

Here is a card I made using the brand new stamps called: Love and Smiles CYNS165

 

I stamped the dog with his balloons and coloured them with Copic markers then layers it on patterned paper and cardstock. Everything then went onto a textured white card base and I added some organza ribbon. The sentiment is also from the stamp set!
