Spotty Card

Before I got married and lived at home, my brother brought home a dalmatian to live with us. We were (and still are) a Lab only household so having a dalmatian was a new experience. She ran like the wind, did not listen ...but in the latter part of her life was the most sweet, gentle and loving dog. Her real name was Daisy but we always called her Spotty.
When I saw this stamp I instantly thought of her and created this card!

I used my Spellbinders and Fiskers embossing plate to create the spotted background. The stamp is from Meljen Designs and I also used my Copic markers, SU cardstock and ribbon.

I have entered this card in: Meljen Designs- Seeing Spots.

Thanks for looking!

So Sweet card....

I know it is after Valentines Day but sometimes you can adapt Valentines-like images to use for other card ideas! Thinking "outside the box" is great and makes you more creative!

I got this great digi from Jellypark and a vellum saying and created this.....

I used CTMH papers and ribbon, Copic markers, Jellypark Digital design, Maya Road pin.

So, next time look at some of your stamps and try to adapt them to other things! This will save you money and you will have fun.
Cheers,
Sue

Thank you Meljen Designs!

Well, I'm a little behind in my blogging....life is crazy at the moment...but I went searching tonight and I found out that I won a challenge at Meljen Designs. Yeah! Not bad for my first digital creation...if I do say so myself!

Keep it Simple

I have discovered a new area in the world of stamping...digital designs or "digi's" as everyone likes to call them. I came across a wonderful company called Meljen who has beautiful designs and was more than willing to help me navigate this new and foreign world!
Digital designs are great for stampers like me who love to colour and play with the latest designs. Its cost effective and relatively easy to use.

Here is my first card using a Digi design and its from Meljen called- Papa Bear. I made this for my Dad who's Birthday is Valentines Day and I thought it was perfect!

I used: Meljen Digi, Copics, DCWV Paper, Ribbon-embellishment-cardstock all from CTMH.

I have entered this in the Meljen Blog Challenge- Keep it Simple.

Cheers,
Sue

Chocolate Mint Inspired.....

Good Morning,
On Saturday I went to a friends house to create and came up with this..... It is inspired by the YNS blog with their challenge of "Chocolate Mint ".
I used the stamp called "Best Buddies" by YNS, Copics to colour, K and Company paper, Prima flowers, and burlap ribbon from CTMH.
YNS or "Your Next Stamp" makes the cutest stamps and they are a Canadian company!

Enjoy and thanks for looking,
Sue

Birthday Time!

Around our house February compares to Christmas with all the Birthdays! In one week we have 4 Birthdays......and all close family members!
I created this card with the beautiful Gruffies stamp called Cake Walk. Gruffies are part of the House Mouse family and they make the cutest stamps!

I have used Copics to colour the image, Spellbinders dies for the border and the picture edge, SU ribbon and paper, and Mulberry paper flowers.

I have entered it in at the HMFMC- Special Cuts.
Enjoy,
Sue
