Tags and more Tags!

 I thought I would share with you some tags I made for Christmas. I always like to make my cards and tags and it saves money as well as makes your gifts a little bit more special!

The images I chose are: Holly Christmas Fairy, Snow Bunny and Penguins Skating Buddy.

I paired them with Kraft tags (CTMH), c/s and ribbon from SU, twine from Recollections, and I coloured them with Copics.

Christmas is in the air!

I love Christmas and enjoy decorating, make cards and doing  a lot of baking and entertaining!

Here is my newest Christmas card I have made. I used another Sherri Baldy image and am pleased with the way it has turned out!

I used Copics to colour, Spellbinders for the lace border and flourishes, Cricut for the the tree and bells, Papers from Studio Calico, Stickles, Prismaglitter from CTMH and ribbon and bling from my stash. I used the My Bestie Image 029.

Look what we did in Card Club this week!

This is what we created in Card Club this week!

We created tags! On Kraft cardstock tags we stamped with the images from the Polar Bear Holiday stamp set from CTMH C1557. We also used chocolate, ruby and sky cardstock, twine and hemp as well as the new Sparkle and Shine papers all from CTMH.

I have been doing a lot of colouring lately and loving using 

Sherri Baldy's designs called " My Besties".

I used papers from The Paper Studio, Spellbinders dies for the Labels and Poinsettia, Echo Park sticker, Button and cardstock from CTMH, Candy dots, glitter ribbon and organza ribbon. I coloured the image with Copics and used Stickles. Image: My Besties- Lil Angel Wings

Winter Card

After being in bed with a bad migraine all day I wanted to create something so here is my latest card...... I am having fun colouring these stamps called "My Besties" and I think they are very cute!

I used Kraft and American Crafts cardstock, handmade lace paper from my local art store, Spellbinders for the snowflakes, embossing folder. Whimsy stamps for the ticket and I coloured the image with Copics. And this adorable stamp from My Besties called: IMG952

Giving Thanks Challenge!

Here in Canada we celebrate Thanksgiving in October but my friends in the States are celebrating their US Thanksgiving! To celebrate this,  Meljens is having a new Challenge called "Giving Thanks".

My Besties Card

I have come across a new (to me) line of stamps called " My Besties". They are the most adorable doll-like stamps and when I saw them I knew I had to create something with them!

Here is my card for their latest Challenge:

The stamp is by My Besties and I coloured her with Copics. I used my Spellbinders for the square and papers from Jillibean Soup and Swiss Dots. Behind the Girl is some handmade paper I got at a local art store.

Design Team Day at Meljens!

Halloween is right around the corner so I was in a  Halloween mood when I created this project for my Design Team Day at Meljen Designs. I found this really cool wooden coffin at the dollar store and paired it with a really cute image called: Lil Vampire.

I coloured the image with Copics, imked it with CTMH pigment inks, added paper from DCWV, and used my Spellbinders to cut out the bats and the pumpkins.

I'm A Proud Mom!

I'm a VERY proud Mom! Brianna came with us to her first Scrapfest on Friday and Saturday and entered into the layout contest. (This layout she completed two weeks beforehand and all by herself) Well....... Canadian Scrapbooker picked her layout for best journalling!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Here she is with all the ladies of Canadian Scrapbooker including Cathie Allan!

I cried, and she hasen't stopped smiling! It was a wonderful weekend.

Here is my Halloween themed card for the Challenge:

I used the great image from Meljens called: Witchy Legs 2 and I inverted it and used it in my chimney! When you pull the tab it reveals a secret message- Happy Halloween!

I used Bazzils c/s, Swiss dots, and some amazing dies from Spellbinders! ( Nested Bats and Witches Brew) I coloured the image with Copics.
